Addendum B – Additional Key Leadership Professional Summary of Work for Mark Sowalski, Director, Business Development Mark Sowalski brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the construction trade, most recently working for the Northeast Carpenters Union, Local #291. Mark served the membership in meaningful roles as a Representative and Delegate. Mark also served in elected positions including Trustee, Financial Secretary and ultimately, President (two terms). Mark is a 2nd generation Union Carpenter, progressively succeeding in roles as a Carpenter, Shop Steward, Foreman, General Foreman and Superintendent. Highlighted, major projects include the Crescent Hydro Damn (Peter J. Kiewit & Sons); the General Electric Co-Generation Projects Phases 1 and 2 and the Athens Co-Generation Project (Bechtel); General Electric Plastics (Raytheon), and: the Bethlehem Energy Center (P.S.E.G.). Mark has also worked for local Albany, New York, construction firms including Sano-Rubin Construction, August Bohl Construction and Jersen Industries. Janelle McCray brings 25 years of construction industry experience in key roles of estimating, project management, contract administration, purchasing and quality assurance. Prior to joining Spearhead, Janelle was an Estimator at Donaldson Interiors, Inc., developing bids on multi-million dollar projects across various industries, including: entertainment, hospitals, transit, schools, among others. Her deep knowledge of sophisticated software and trusted relationships fit well with Spearhead’s culture. Janelle is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY, earning a BS in Architectural Technology, and also a graduate of Long Island University, Brentwood, NY earning an MS in Childhood Education and Literacy. Sean Reed brings more than 15 years of construction industry experience serving in key roles as Project Architect and Senior Project Manager responsible for delivering projects on-time and on- budget. Sean’s deep estimating experience coupled with his array of technology and software capabilities has helped himmanage mid-scale union masonry projects for ground up construction and restoration. Sean has worked on large projects with DASNY, DDC, SCA, DOT, MTA, government buildings and healthcare facilities. Sean is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Central Islip, NY, earning a B.S. in Architectural Technology and a minor in Construction Management.
