John Stanforth brings over 20 years of professional leadership and construction management experience to his role as Project Manager. Prior to Joining Spearhead, John spent 12 years working as a General Contractor at Consigli Construction Co, Inc. and Andron Construction Corp., respectively, in various roles including project management, senior estimating, and preconstruction management. Projects ranged in scope and owners from private colleges, hospitals, medical office build-outs, multi-family housing, and multiple government agency’s including NAVFAC, DASNY, OGS, SCA, and PANYNJ. Before joining the corporate world, John served eight years on active duty as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer in the U. S. Navy. While on Active Duty, John was Seabee Combat Warfare qualified and his Commanders often trusted him in roles typically reserved for higher ranking officers, including acting Battalion Operations Officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Earlier tours included Assistant Resident Officer In-Charge of Construction at NAVFAC Midwest and instructor duty at the Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officer School, where he also guest instructed for the Defense Acquisition University. John is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY earning a B.S. in Industrial Management Engineering. John spends his spare time mentoring young men and women through volunteer work with Scouting BSA and youth sports. Jason Kowalski has served as union member with Local 291 for over two decades. Jason distinguished himself early in his career by quickly absorbing responsibilities and delivering results while demonstrating his capability to complete all size projects safely, on-time and on- budget. Jason’s career spans work as a Carpenter, a Foreman and Field Superintendent. Most recently, Jason led 60 union workers for the construction of the Expo center at the NYS Fairgrounds. Jason is a volunteer coach for an inner-city youth basketball program where he coaches his daughter and teammates the virtues of being a positive role model, learning to love the game and playing with integrity and grit.
