REA Final - 22 Dec 20 - eBook - 1682 pages

1. We would want to do the area next to the moving walkway and the walls for the stairs, escalator and mech rooms first.  This includes fire shutter.   o Agreed with this part of the plan. The Elevator Shaft will be a high priority as well as the east wall of the escalator (potentially hit this with an aerial boom from below). o SWJV coordination item with the moving walkway work is to ensure Anvil/Celtic, Low Voltage, misc metals, and curtain wall have had time in the area before we go along with the finished GFRC bases. Upon coordination meetings, we will set up a breakout schedule for this area to confirm the order of operations. 2. Next would be the capitals and bases, the remainder of the walls and the soffits.   o Agreed. SWJV’s concern would be the 3 bases leading up to the elevators. We would need to put additional protection at these bases so they do not get damaged in the high traffic. 3. Completing the shaft of the slanted columns, the ceilings and all remaining GFRG.   o OK, will need to review with SWJV to ensure nothing needs to be run inside of them. o The ceilings are SWJV’s biggest concern. The ceiling above the escalators pose a problem to build out, and we are currently speaking with KONE. The hard ceilings in general will need to be coordinated with all MEPs, LV, and then comeback SOFP before they can be boarded up. 4. Last would be the setting of the FTR bases and the roof access corridor.   o SWJV agrees with this item going last. o Roof Access Corridor – Spearhead to confirm this will be built from the Level 4 Slab. Again, this is overly basic but is a basic idea of the way we would stage the project.  A schedule from the other trades and SWJV would help us further develop our schedule.
