GARY SENT ME THE FOLLOWING TEXT: I just saw this.

I sent the following detailed response, I had a plan since I questioned him with his layout last night. Did you speak to Frank or Brian Mock on site? My suggestion would be to lower the bottom of the bulkhead below the 2 ceilings by 1 1/2" and then run the independent sloped ceilings into an independent vertical surface. The RISK to be investigated..... Can the window be lowered 1 1/2" and still fit between an adjusted Knee wall height, the Tube steel within the wall and the knee wall still be at a height that is code compliant (if the window is within the first 42", then the window unit would have to resist a horizontal point load of 200 pounds...... I also think there is a high and low dimension above and below 42" for the wall that would still permit it to be compliant as a Guardrail..... the low is at 41", but it could be another 1/2" lower)...... If all that checks out, Lower the Bulkhead the 1 1/2", it should have been design to take up the potential difference of building they 2 structures independently.
