Below is the email about the reversed bolt issue with Oscar looking at it.

Quick back of the napkin calc we had sent over to HOK:

The diameter of bolt is 1 ½’’, The thickness of the nut 1 ½ ‘’. The head on the bolt is 5/8’’ thk. The difference is 7/8’’ thk. Three threads past the nut is aprox ½’’ max.

We are talking about an overall distance of 1’’ add.

Based on this I do not see an issue, even with the fireproofing sprayed over it. The furring/gap space is more than adequate and will accept the GFRG truss enclosure. The right side of the column indicates aprox 4’’ from the bolt to the GFRC face to play with. The left side with a 1’’ furring after the fireproofing incorporates the 1’’ of the added distance of the nut with exposed bolt threads.
