Spearhead alternative solution/RFI preparation Spearhead Superintendent, PM and Owner discussed a solution to “sister” a stud parallel to each stiffener, rather than perpendicular as designed. We discussed preparing a sketch to send as a proposed solution/RFI.

Per your stop work directive, Spearhead will not proceed with its work.

Spearhead signed its contract well before the revised tube steel detail was issued in October 2020 and could not have priced this work effectively with only the description in the contract. Spearhead has been in compliance with its work, has never refused to perform contract work, and has not failed to perform its work. For these reasons, Spearhead will not accept any back charges. Spearhead reserves all rights and remedies under the Subcontract Agreement.
